Microsoft AI Tour: Boston

I photograph a lot of tech events. What I’ve learned is that the best ones aren’t just about the stage. The real story is always happening in the hallway after someone learns something that changed how they think about their work.

Microsoft’s AI Tour brings hands-on learning directly to communities, helping people understand how AI can transform their work. Their mission is to democratize artificial intelligence and empower people with the knowledge they need to thrive in an AI-driven world.

The Microsoft AI Tour understood this. Hundreds of people showed up genuinely trying to understand what AI means for their work. One of the best things about photographing large-scale events is capturing what happens when people stop performing and start actually listening. The moment someone’s expression shifts because they just understood something new. The conversation between two strangers who realize they’re solving the same problem. The way a room changes energy when what’s being said actually matters. These moments reveal what an event actually accomplished.

What an incredible day with an incredible crew. Thank you to Microsoft and everyone who showed up ready to learn.
